Location
Villa Giulia quietely stands in the middle of Nature, looking out onto the sea amidst gentle hills that are used for growing wheat, grapes and olives. It is a magical, timeless place for a holiday in the heart of the Marche region, but at the same time it is very easy to reach as it is located at less than 500 meters from the Adriatic state highway that connects Pesaro to Fano. The residence is the ideal base for visiting the wonderful cities of art in the Marche, Umbria and Emilia Romagna regions such as Urbino, Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia and Ravenna and for discovering the natural beauty of various protected areas such as the San Bartolo Park and the Conero Park. These Parks are full of wonderful views overlooking the sea, with large sandy beaches that stretch for miles, interspersed with cliffs, paths that wind across the mountains that often hide mysterious deep caves like the ones at Frasassi. There is a spectacular road from Villa Giulia that travels over the Appenines and takes you to Arezzo and San Sepolcro in less than two hours.
The area around Villa Giulia is true Heaven for food and wine lovers: there are several restaurants, inns and good Trattorias between Pesaro and Fano where you can taste high quality wines and typical local dishes from the Marche region, including fresh fish from the Adriatic Sea, tagliatelle and passatelli pasta, genuine meats and vegetables.
This area is ideal for practising any type of sport such as windsurfing, sailing, diving, tennis and horse-riding. The Rimini Golf Club is about 30 km away while the Conero Golf Club is 70 km away. It is possible to hire planes at the Fano Air-club for panoramic flights and fishing trips are organised at the port.

How to get there
by car
Exit the A14 Bologna-Taranto highway at Fano, go to the town center and then take the state road towards Pesaro. Turn left 3km from the center of Fano into Via di Villa San Biagio and then right to join up with Via di Villa Giulia (on the left). Carry straight on, following the directions for Villa Giulia.
By train
Villa Giulia is 3 km from Fano station and 5 km from Pesaro station. We will be happy to pick you up and take you to the station. Otherwise you could hire a car on the spot.
By plane
From Ancona Airport "Raffaello Sanzio", you can travel to Villa Giulia by private taxi or by hiring a car. It is about 60 km to the Villa from the airport. Some low cost airlines connect this airport with several European cities.
From Rimini Airport "Federico Fellini" you can reach Villa Giulia by private taxi or by hiring a car. It is about 30 km to the Villa from the airport.
From Bologna Airport "Guglielmo Marconi", you can travel to Villa Giulia by hiring a car or by taking the shuttle bus to Bologna station and then taking a train to Fano or Pesaro from there. It is about 150 km to the Villa from the airport.
